Overview

The Community Services Department of Nketoana Local Municipality plays a central role in enhancing the daily lives of residents by delivering essential public services and promoting social well-being. Headed by Moeketsi Samson Letsela, the department oversees a wide range of functions including disaster management, fire and rescue services, waste management, traffic and law enforcement, parks and cemeteries, community development, and facilities management. It also coordinates youth and sports programs, supports cultural initiatives, and ensures that libraries and recreational spaces are accessible and well-maintained across all wards.
